Software Engineer III - NGINX Plus at F5 Networks in San Jose, CA
Research, design, implement and verify new features for NGINX Plus ? Consistently apply good software design, code, and test principles. ? Collaborate with software engineers, product managers, professional services to understand requirements and customer use cases, product architecture, dependencies, tools, priorities, and trends and to build a better product. ? Handle code reviews, share and receive feedback, act on it. ? Maintain existing code base, review and improve/refactor existing code, investigate, fix, and verify bugs. ? Implement refinements based on the feedback from engineers or customers, and on the data from the root cause analysis for test escapes and internally found defects. Knowledge and Skills ? Good programming experience with C/C+
(Perl, JS experience is a plus) ? Good experience in Unix-like operating systems and common development toolchains ? Good understanding of network and web protocols ? Good analytic, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills ? Great self-discipline and focus on engineering excellence ? Dedicated desire to learn new things and improve ? Innovative approach when looking for solutions to complicated problems ? Good written and verbal communications skills Qualifications ? 3
