We are searching for the brightest and most passionate Product Managers to enable humans and robots to work together. The Product Management team drives the development, product definition, and planning to optimize the company's products and solutions. The Product Management team evaluates in-depth market analysis and leads business case development for optimization of existing products and solutions alternatives and/or to create the next generation of new products. Collaborates with research and development to create products and validate early product definitions. This role is both strategic and technical in nature and requires meaningful industry experience. As a Product Manager, Principal in the Robotics Product Management team, you will be responsible for the entire hardware development roadmap of our Autonomous Mobile robots (AMRs). This includes supporting and growing the business of existing products and developing new products for the company based on your industry experience and your contact with customers and prospects. Responsibilities The Product Manager Principal owns the overall portfolio of hardware products (Autonomous Mobile robots and accessories), including value proposition, business case, roadmap, release planning, go to market, product growth and support/sustaining efforts. Through comprehensive knowledge of the customers and their needs, market, competitive landscape, distribution channels and Zebra offerings, the Product Manager Principal defines clear, actionable and customer-driven product requirements. Works closely with internal stakeholders throughout the development process in negotiating design trade-offs that may be needed, while preserving the requirements stated in the product epics or Product Description documents (PDD). Internal stakeholders include but not limited to engineering, end users, channel partners, sales, support organizations, and manufacturing. Product Life Cycle Management Actively supports the Sales organization as required in select sales presentations, competitive analysis, proposals and opportunities. Monitors financial performance of product lines and makes recommendations for pricing. Sets target product costs for new products and evaluates cost reduction initiatives. The Product Manager Principal works with the Product Marketing and Marketing Communications in developing product promotion programs. Qualifications Master's Degree with BS in Engineering Discipline. 12
years' experience, including 5
years of technical product management expertise. Hardware product management (concept to launch) expertise required. Deep technical understanding of robotics or complex hardware (mechanical, electrical, controls, firmware) plus software. Excels in identifying and understanding customer needs and translating them into clear and actionable engineering requirements. Strong planning and execution skills. Able to multi-task and manage complex programs. Excellent interpersonal skills with strong ability to interact with customers. Strong communication skills including written, verbal and oral presentation skills as well as ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from senior management, technical leads, clients and customers. Advanced analytical, problem solving and organizational skills. Demonstrates good judgement in decision making, applies knowledge and experience to guide decisions. Ability to assess complex market landscape and create focused, integrated product plans. Deep understanding of financial concepts including P&L, balances sheets, and ROI models with delivery of product through defined objectives. Advanced market and competitive knowledge in assigned product vertical, category or technology or solutions. Strong business acumen. Excellent skills in Microsoft business applications (Word, Excel, Powerpoint, Outlook). Ability to travel (20%).
Salary Range:
$200K -- $250K
Minimum Qualification
Technical Product Management, Hardware DevelopmentEstimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
