We also license Flash-IP solutions that are incorporated in a broad range of products.Job DescriptionDesign, simulate and develop advanced signal processing algorithms for copper and/or fiber communication system, including AGC, adaptive equalizers, clock and data recovery, error correcting codes, and calibration algorithms etc.Lab debug and silicon trouble shootingWork in a cross functional team environment to develop mixed-signal transceiversSupport ASIC front end design to optimize gate count and operating clock speedsWork with the verification lead to support definition/execution of verification plansVerify System/Block-level functions with RTL design engineersJob RequirementsMS or Ph.D with 5
years design experience with ADC-based PAM and/or coherent DSP architectures & algorithm developmentStrong abilities in communication system theory, DSP architectures and fixed-point algorithm developmentExperience in system/algorithm modeling in Simulink/Matlab and functional verificationGood understanding of synchronous/asynchronous design, RTL coding, and timing requirement for complex DSP modulesExperience in high-speed DSP, especially FFE/DFE, Clock and Data Recovery (CDR) or FEC is a plusExcellent analytical/problem-solving skills and handy with laboratory debug tools (Logic Analyzer, Oscilloscope)Team player, self-motivated, and is willing to take on a variety of projectsGood written and oral communication skills
Salary Range:
$80K -- $100K
Minimum Qualification
Mechanical Engineering, Electrical EngineeringEstimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
