Senior Product Marketing Manager, Cloud Data Services and Enterprise Storage HPE is at the forefront of a market transformation to deliver a new data experience that brings cloud operational agility to data management and infrastructure to accelerate data-driven transformation. Your Opportunity We are looking for an experienced product marketer to drive product marketing strategy, messaging, positioning, and content generation across the buyer's journey for HPE Alletra, cloud-native data infrastructure, and associated cloud data services. In this role, you will see the world from our customers' eyes and build compelling, strategic narratives to drive awareness and preference for HPE Storage. To be a successful candidate, you will have proven experience leading product marketing at a public cloud or SaaS company, or across early- and mid-stage businesses. You should have a track record of building compelling narratives and creative content that connects with customers across the buyer's journey. You should be seasoned in positioning products in the market to drive instant clarity for buyers and sellers on the right product for the right use case. You should have a passion for technology, but proven ability to captivate new customers above the technical details. You'll work closely with senior leadership, product management, worldwide sales, and GTM (Go-to-Market) teams to get the right message out to the market and drive product launches. This is a critical role in driving the transformation and growth of HPE Storage. The position is classified as an Edge worker based out of San Jose, CA. You will work remotely and visit the office few times a week, as needed to collaborate with other team members.
Responsibilities:
Lead product marketing for HPE Alletra and associated cloud data services with a focus on creating thought leadership and accelerating pipeline through impactful messaging, positioning, and storytelling Create differentiated messaging and impactful content to drive demand Influence industry analysts, press, and influencers including Gartner, IDC, and Forrester Own the marketing content strategy and development for HPE Alletra for our website, buyer's journey, press releases, briefings, sales plays, etc Drive thought leadership that creates attention to HPE Storage's POV for cloud operational experience and cloud-native data infrastructure Education and Experience Required BS in Marketing or Engineering field; MBA strongly preferred. 7
years marketing experience in a relevant industry, across product marketing, product management, or solutions marketing. Experience in marketing cloud-native or SaaS solutions preferred. Subject matter expertise in hybrid cloud, cloud services, data management, storage as a service, enterprise storage, and/or data protection strongly preferred Demonstrated experience leading product launches, positioning products, and scaling businesses in competitive markets Knowledge And Skills Thinks strategically and executes on marketing strategies around HPE Storage Products/Cloud services/Solutions Excellent written/oral communications, including presentation skills. Strong analytical skills. Excellent interpersonal skills. Creativity to break through the noise and earn attention. Excellent negotiating skills. Ability to interface effectively with all levels of management and functional disciplines. Strong influencing skills.
