Technical Program Manager - FAE
LitePoint is looking for a Technical Program Manager who will act as a Lead with our Field/Factory engineers. Our teams work on the latest wireless communication technologies such as WiFi, Bluetooth, UWBP etc. LitePoint is a leading validation company working with some the biggest names in consumer electronics to ensure wireless communications work their best and live up to consumer's expectations. We are based in the heart of Silicon Valley (San Jose, CA) where the leading edge of new wireless technologies are constantly being developed.
Responsibilities:
Lead the team and work with customers on testing of wireless enabled products (such as phone, tablet or access point) for its full life cycle from initiation, design, manufacture and release Be the technical expert in wireless testing methodology and LitePoint wireless test products and solutions and build relationships with customers Possess an in-depth technical understanding of LitePoint solutions, wireless communication standards, automated test requirements, and RF physical layer to provide frontline, system-level technical advises to customers when necessary, pre and post-sales support Perform cost of test analysis during pre-sales for each major strategic customer project and help Sales Team with proposing technical solution that improves chances of winning business Post sales, work closely with Account Managers, Application Engineering and R&D teams to analyze customer needs, define requirements for each wireless project Keep track of various customer's wireless test projects, timelines, requirements at strategic accounts, schedule engineering support to meet timelines of these projects from Design, R&D phase to Manufacturing Mentor direct reports and internal team members on new wireless technology and LitePoint proprietary solutions to better equip for customer support With respect to the Internal Technical project management, to lead, plan and allocate resources for internal projects that improve overall customer support process, cost of support per account, value of LitePoint Test solutions Requirements:
Master's in Electrical Engineering or a related field, and 3-6 years of experience in the test measurement equipment/instrument industry, including technical experience in RF technology, frequency domain analysis, high-level programming (C/C++), and project management experience in sales, technical support, and business development. Must be available to work on site at our San Jose, CA facility.
Salary Range:
$80K -- $100K
Minimum Qualification
