Sr Director, Communications

NetApp's Corporate Communications Team is seeking a seasoned communications leader who can drive our executive communications strategy and lead our executive communications team as we mobilize the voices of our senior leaders to articulate and amplify our company narrative internally and externally. We are looking for a strategic communications leader and passionate storyteller with an astute business mind who can be the architect of our executive story. The right candidate should be self-motivated, strategic, data- and KPIs-driven, highly collaborative and customer obsessed. They should also have proven team management and leadership experience. This role reports directly to the Vice President of Global Corporate Communications.
Responsibilities:
o Leads the executive communications team to ensure its CEO, President and other senior leaders' voices cut through the noise and that they are positioned as thought leaders both internally and externally. o Developsintegrated communications strategies with a company-wide perspective to enable strategic business outcomes and guide the team that develops executive communications strategies and tactics to advance NetApp's business strategy among internal and external stakeholders. o Serve as NetApp's primary authority and subject matter expert concerning executive communication strategies, implementation, and alignment to business needs and objectives. o Serve as a trusted strategic communications advisor to NetApp's senior leadership team on messaging, tone and delivery. o Protect and advance NetApp's reputation through all communications across various internal and external channels and platforms. Lead team and communication consultants to proactively source and deliver business-critical communications. o Drive the development of communication agendas with high-quality communications material across a variety of formats, platforms and channels. Drivesthe development of new channels as appropriate. o Drive the impact of the collective communication strategy. Ensure the execution of all phases of the communications process, including conception, implementation, and measurement. o Influence communications prioritization, sequencing, and message alignment across the enterprise. o Servesas NetApp's authority on industry best practices, emerging trends, and their validity in NetApp's environment and culture to encourage adoption as appropriate. o Develop and strengthen working relationships with key influencers and executives across the organization and in the industry to support communications and business objectives. o Oversee the creation of internal and external communications deliverables ranging from internal company emails and internal blog posts to global All Hands, speeches and video presentations. o Work closely with the PR, AR and social media teams on proactively and reactively identifying and seizing thought leadership opportunities to drive NetApp's industry-leading reputation and boost company awareness in key markets around the world. Job Requirements Requirements and Qualifications o 15
years of experience in corporate communications and/or executive communications (including both internal and external communications experience) developing world-class communications strategies and programs , including 10
years of team management experience o Experience working with executives in large companies o Global perspective and experience working at a global company; understanding and sensitivity to global differences o Strong executive presence o High emotional intelligence o Excellent writing and editing skills; a storyteller at heart o Excellent interpersonal and verbal communications skills o Ability to present information in an accurate yet unique and compelling manner with an executive voice o Mastery of modern communications workflow processes and tools, including videos, podcasts, etc. o Experienced manager and leader with a track record of building high performing teams and investing in individuals' career development o A player-coach--someone who can move seamlessly from guiding the team on strategy to taking the pen to write a company-wide email o Enjoy working in a fast-paced environment where priorities can shift quickly o Operate with a sense of urgency o Excellent analytical and time-management skills o Proficient computer skills, including Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, Excel, SharePoint, and One Drive) o Sufficient technical background and understanding of the IT industry to be able to incorporate technical messages fluently o Experience working at a publicly traded company preferred o Knowledge of the cloud computing or storage industry a plus o Bachelor's degree in English, Communications, Journalism, Public Relations or related field Education IC - Typically requires a minimum of 15 years of related experience.Mgr & Exec - Typically requires a minimum of 15 years of related experience.
Salary Range:
$250K -- $500K+
Minimum Qualification
Communications & PREstimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
