Lifeguard leads are part of the aquatics team and assist in the daily operations of the water park.
Their key job duty is to uphold the standards set by Jeff Ellis & Associates and Raging Waters.
They provide exceptional guest service and complete documentation relevant to the operation of the facility.
This position requires a positive hands-on, team player approach and will be responsible for the operation of sections in the waterpark.
The person in this position must be willing to accept the most effective role as deemed by management.

Responsibilities:
Pay Rate:
Starting at $21.
00/hr Oversee safety while in Water Park.
This includes effective supervision, training, and demonstrations of a think safe attitude.
Assist in overseeing the safety of guest in use of our facilities by being available and visible on the pool deck, preforming VAT training in accordance with Jeff Ellis and Associates, and consistent supervision of lifeguard staff.
Provide feedback to lifeguard staff based on performance, coaching, and proper scanning techniques.
Assist in maintain cleanliness of water park to keep it clean of any and all debris.
Participate in contributing to guest satisfaction.
Be able to communicate with staff members and guest in all situations including but not limited to:
Disciplinary action, coaching and rule enforcement.
Assist in promoting a positive environment and maintain employee morale.
Perform the duties of a lifeguard upon request.
(Caution swimmers of unsafe areas, rescues swimmers in distress, etc.
) Preform basic first aid on a regular basis with a confidant attitude.
Assist with lost children.
Cleans swimming pools as needed.
Maintain professional image.
Complete all required paperwork in a timely manner.
All other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
Must be at least 16 years of age.
Education:
Must be able to successfully complete the Ellis and Associates Lifeguard Training Program, including a swim test.
Bloodborne Pathogen training provided by management Languages:
The ability to read, write, speak and understand the English language.

Experience:
Previous guest related experience is preferred.
One to three months related experience and/or training.
