The successful candidate will be responsible for patrolling the grounds, monitoring surveillance equipment, responding to alarms and other security-related incidents, and ensuring that all visitors are properly identified and authorized.
The ideal candidate should have excellent observation skills, be able to think quickly in emergency situations, and possess strong communication skills.
Responsibilities:
Monitor and authorize entrance and departure of employees, visitors, and other persons to guard against theft and maintain security of premises.
Write reports of daily activities and irregularities such as equipment or property damage, theft, presence of unauthorized persons, or unusual occurrences.
Answer alarms and investigate disturbances.
Circulate among visitors, patrons, and employees to preserve order and protect property.
Call police or fire departments in cases of emergency, such as fire or presence of unauthorized persons.
Observe departing personnel to protect against theft of company property and ensure that authorized removal of property is conducted within appropriate client requirements.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
