Master's Degree in a mental health field (Will Consider:
Enrollment in a practicum course at an accredited master's degree program in a mental health field (time limited) OR Awaiting BBS registration number (time limited)) One (1) / two (2) years of experience in a mental health field; experience should be with children or adolescents in residential or outpatient settings preferred.
Registered with the Board of Behavioral Sciences (BBS) as Associate (AMFT, ASW, APCC) registration, or as listed above enrollment in a practicum course and in an accredited master's degree program in a mental health field, or awaiting BBS registration number OR LMFT, LPCC, or LCSW license in California Valid California Driver's License.
How you will make a difference (job overview):
This position has primary responsibility for providing mental health services and case management services to children or adolescents and their families referred to Community Services.
Services may include engagement, assessment, evaluation, individual/family/group therapy, and case management.
The position acts as liaison with external agencies and functions on teams with other clinical and support staff.
In addition, the position documents and bills for mental health and case management services and completes outcomes information.
Division/Program Overview:
Supporting individual with mental health, family life, employment, education, living situation, personal effectiveness, and community life functioning.
Sessions are in the community, clinic, home and some telehealth Working with individuals ages 6-15 (Child) and 16-25 (TAY) Utilizing a strength-based approach and working together as a multidisciplinary team We provide services to individuals and families throughout Santa Clara County Learn more about SBHG at:
