$21 -22, DOE/DOQABOUT THE ARC The Salvation Army (TSA) Adult Rehabilitation Center (ARC) is a no-fee program to assist men & women in their journey to complete our rehabilitation program.

GENERAL
Responsibilities:
Under the direction of the Center Administrator - Our Lead Counselor is responsible for providing expertise and guidance to all counseling staff as well as tocounsel and teach beneficiaries of the Adult Rehabilitation Centers.
REQUIRED
Qualifications:
oCertified Alcohol and Drug Counselor or Bachelor's degree plus 3 years work/volunteer experience in the substance abuse field o1-year experience teaching or presenting material pertaining to Rehabilitation from addiction.
oAge 21 or above oCurrent valid California Driver's License oAbility to make critical decisions and work with minimal supervision oKnowledge of Microsoft Office programs, MSWord, Excel, and Access with ability to learn additional software as appropriate oExcellent organizational skills with attention to detail ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES:
oAssist beneficiaries to understand and overcome social and emotional problems through individual and process group counseling utilizing ARCC approved curriculum/workbooks.
oConduct comprehensive psychosocial assessment interviews with newly admitted beneficiaries.
oKeep beneficiary files up-to-date with proper documentation of counseling and class activities for those beneficiaries assigned.
oDevelop individual Rehabilitation Plans for beneficiaries seen in counseling.
oAssist assigned beneficiaries in preparation for 90 day and 5-month reviews.
oConduct Christian education classes as assigned.
oLead other groups or classes as assigned by the Lead Counselor.
oTeach classes in the program's educational component as assigned by the Lead Counselor.
oAttend weekly Case Conference and provide input to discussion as helpful.
oHandle all counseling related issues in the absence of the Lead Counselor, including presentation of the most serious issues to the Administrator.
oProvide and maintain counseling statistics for monthly Program reports.
oDocument and maintain appropriate Progress Notes in beneficiary files.
oAssess spiritual needs of beneficiaries seen in counseling and make referrals to Chaplain as needed.
oAttend at least one Wednesday night chapel service each month.
oServe as back-up to other counselors as needed.
oCross train to cover Intake Coordinator and/or Program Aide Duties as necessary.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
oAbility to sit, walk, stand, bend, squat, climb, kneel or twist on an intermittent or continuous basis oAbility to grasp, push, pull objects such as files, file cabinet drawers, and other office equipment oAbility to communicate clearly on the telephone oAbility to lift up to 30 lbs.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
