Job Description The Treasury Manager is responsible for managing the financial and monetary aspects of the company, including cash flow, liquidity, funding, and building and maintaining relationships with financial institutions.
The Treasury manager needs to understand financial markets, the economics of the regulated utility business, and the associated financial risks.
The Treasury Manager will develop and maintain healthy and productive relationships with banks and other funding sources to secure the most favorable terms for the company.
Additionally, the Treasury Manager will be involved in capital planning, debt management and compliance, while creating strategies to optimize the company's spending and budgeting.
oMonitor the Group's debt portfolio and facilities, ensuring that:
all payments and drawdowns are completed in a timely manner, on-going requirements of the debt are met, and information and covenants are complied with according to legal agreements.
oEstablish and regularly review treasury policies & procedures, ensuring that they are implemented throughout the organization.
oManage all aspects of cash management, including account funding, wire transfers, and cash concentration.
oManage inter-company loans between the group and its subsidiaries plus between subsidiaries.
oResponsible for the accuracy, completion and reconciliation of all financial information processed within the Treasury team, ensuring the integrity of financial data and monitoring the reconciliation of bank and loan accounts.
oManage the budget, forecast, and reporting processes for all treasury costs.
oProduce short, medium and long-term cash-flow forecasts.
oImplement and periodically review the Investment strategy to ensure optimal mix of risk and return.
oControl banking operations among many banks.
oLead improvement of the treasury business process and implementation of state-of-the-art treasury technology tools.
oPartner with the Accounting & Finance team to manage and optimize our treasury and accounting activities.
oOwn and maintain SOX controls for the treasury function.
oProduce treasury reports for Finance Committee and the Board of Directors.
oAssist the CFO and SVP of Finance with various projects as needed.
Qualifications oBachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Mathematics, Accounting or similar.
oCertified Treasury Professional designation preferred.
o5 to 7 years Treasury Experience in a publicly traded company corporate treasury environment.
oKnowledge and experience of treasury management including managing debt portfolios, liquidity and cash flow forecasting, and techniques for analysis of funding and hedging.
oUnderstanding of treasury-related software and an ERP system.
oExtremely proficient in Excel.
oDetailed oriented, results-driven, resourceful, and able to work cross functionally.
oStrong communication, interpersonal skills, organizational and time management skills.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
