This position will serve as the business line leader for the EVC focus at PRIME and will shape and champion the direction and growth of this specialty business.
A Business Development Professional with PRIME is responsible for identifying, developing, and maintaining customer and industry relationships within PRIMEs core base.
Our customer base is comprised of both private and public sectors and includes building and property owners, developers, fleet owners and general contractors.
Industry relationships include EVC manufacturers, distributors, and solutions providers.
The ideal candidate will have proven experience with the sales, design and/or construction of EVC solutions, current relationships with EVC manufacturers, distributors and solutions providers, and knowledge of EVC customer base and funding opportunities, including federal, state, local and utility grants, rebates, incentives, and other avenues.
This professional is responsible for bringing all project opportunities to PRIMEs operations teams, and they shall lead the sales process of each opportunity that is selected by a project group for bidding.
Additionally, they will develop and maintain relationships with all internal customers and resources, as well as manufacturers and distributors critical to the business.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES &
Responsibilities:
Identify, develop, and maintain customer relationships with current and prospective contracting partners, developers, and owners.
Manage the development of bid proposals by gathering key information on the customer and facilitating the development of the overall bid strategy.
The bids will vary in size, scope, and complexity, with often multiple bids at once.
Highly developed creative writing skills are required (excellent spelling, punctuation, grammar) Develop and maintain consultative relationships with current and potential clients.
Identify, build, and manage a suite of channel partners that best advantage PRIME and our clients, to include EVC manufacturers, distributors and contracting partners.
Through customer base, identify and develop EVC opportunities that meet PRIMEs minimum standards.
Be knowledgeable in and fully leverage public funding and support models for EVC solutions, including government and utility grants, rebates, incentives, and other funding avenues.
Present opportunities to PRIME project groups and deliver accurate project information and documents.
Track all projects that are designated for bidding, and update project information on an on-going basis.
Engage the project groups in the sales and bidding process and maintain strong communication with internal parties and with external customers throughout the bid phase of each project.
Develop a thorough understanding of PRIMEs business objectives so that the concept of Why PRIME can be effectively sold to external customers.
Attend industry association meetings as a means of networking with the customer base and other industry professionals.
Participate in PRIME Sales functions that may include outside normal working hours and weekends.
DESIRED
Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:
Our Ideal candidate will possess a minimum of 3
years experience in EVC related operations, program management, business development and/or sales in the Greater Puget Sound, WA or Bay Area, CA regions, with a proven track record of developing and maintaining end-user relationships specifically within the Electrical Vehicle Charging industry.
Thorough and extensive understanding and familiarity with one or more of the leading EVC manufacturer solutions.
The candidate must have a natural ability to engage in business relationships with individuals and groups, and a willingness to improve and exploit their talents to build customer relationships for PRIME.
An energetic, self-starter who enjoys a dynamic team-oriented business environment.
The successful candidate will be ethical; possess raw intelligence, a willingness to learn, tenacity, strong organizational skills and disciplined work habits; excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Experience and working knowledge with Microsoft Office 365 and Cosential is preferable.
