Job Description:
Iron Systems is looking for an experienced Accounting Clerk to join our accounting team.
You will work to prepare and report financial statements confirming to principles of accounting and regulatory requirements.
The main role is to handle day to day business accounting.
This position is based at our Fremont facility and reports to Accounting Manager.

Responsibilities:
Your duties will include, but not limited to:
Receive and process invoices from Vendors Receive and process payments from Customers Process payments via weekly check runs or ACH or Wire Sales Tax Reports Process invoices to Customers File Preliminary notices Make collection calls on past due accounts Work with employees to maintain customer and vendor relationships Work with Purchasing/Receivingon vendor record discrepancies Open new Customer, Vendor accounts.
Check credits via D& B Reports or from references.
Work with receiving department for RTV (Return to Vendor) Settlements of Credit / Debit order Bank Reconciliation Close Month end / Quarter End /Year end and do the adjustment entries Reconcile all balance sheet accounts.
Knowledge for factoring accounting.
Job Qualification:
Education Experience Bachelor's Degree in Accounting.
Work History:
At least 3-5 years of related experience preferred a combination of related field of study and work experience will be considered.
Required Skills Proficient with the computer in a Windows environment.
Excel, Word, PowerPoint as well as verbal and written communication skills.
Recommended Skills Accounts Payable Balance Sheet Business Relationship Management Communication Microsoft Excel Microsoft Power Point Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
