Job DescriptionWe are looking for a talented, high-energy, team player to be part of a team developing a Firewall and Web proxy solution delivered as a service through the cloud.
Requirements8
years software development experience in large-scale commercial networking oriented applicationsStrong Debugging/Troubleshooting skills to debug/handle complex Firewall problems in customer environments.
Experience in Load balancers, IPS/IDS, Routers, Firewall products in multi-threading / multi-core / fault tolerant real-time embedded platforms.
Expert-level programming skills in C/UNIX/RTOS Strong in fundamentals - TCP/IP, High performance Computing, Event based programming, Fault Tolerance etc.
Familiar with complete software development cycleSelf-starter, quick-learner, able to multitask, and collaborate with others in a team environmentBS/MS degree (Engineering/Computer Science)Strong exposure to DNS filtering and understanding of different criteria which can be used to filter dns transactions on the request and response side.
Strong exposure to different tunneling methods like ipsec, gre etc.
Strong exposure to multi-tenant architecture and ability to develop optimized solutions around complex firewall rules config handling and implementing policy evaluation engine with optimal lookup is a plusExpertise on L3, L4 and L7 filtering policies.
Desired skillsExperience with FreeBSD based networking solutionsKnowledge of HTTP and web proxiesExperience in Cloud based Networking solutions is plusSome small company/startup experience #LI-JM1Zscaler s salary ranges are benchmarked and are determined by role and level.
