Job Mission
We are looking for an exceptionally skilled hands-on Mechanical engineer or Electrical engineer to join our System Performance and Integration department in the ASML - HMI.
The proto engineering role is to integrate Proto e-Beam machines and maintain install based machines to support US D&E engineering work, SW release and customer demo. This position may require access to controlled technology, as defined in the Export Administration Regulations (15 C.F.R. 730, et seq.). Qualified candidates must be legally authorized to access such controlled technology prior to beginning work. Business demands may require the Company to proceed with candidates who are immediately eligible to access controlled technology.

Working at System Integrate team to integrate proto type E-Beam inspection machines .
Execute/Maintain Integration Plan
Intake Machine Time Claim
Update Machine plan
Prepare for execution
Execute Claims on Machine
Report Machine Progress
Report Project Status
Maintain HW+SW Configuration
Manage issues and handle machine issues.
Support collaboration between engineering teams. Implements ongoing quality improvement processes and drive quality initiatives.
10% travel Domestic and International

Extended periods of time in a clean room environment should be expected. Requires gowning in Class 10K gowning protocol
May need to work in labs with equipment that emit high-pitched noise.
May spend extended periods of time at a computer workstation
Education and Experience
BS or MS in Mechanical engineering, Electrical Engineering or other engineering disciplines with two years work experience.

This position is located on-site in San Jose, CA. It requires onsite presence to attend in-person work-related events, trainings and meetings and to further ensure teamwork, collaboration and innovation. (Important to insert additional onsite language specific to the role: i.e., inspection, specific training and supervision, etc.)
The employee is mainly working inside the clean room. Therefore, remote work is not an option.
Routinely required to sit; walk; talk; hear; use hands to keyboard, finger, handle, and feel; stoop, kneel, crouch, twist, reach, and stretch. Occasionally required to move inside the clean room and around the campus.

The current base annual salary range for this role is currently $87,375-$145,625. Pay scales are determined by role, level, location and alignment with market data. Individual pay is determined through interviews and an assessment of several factors that that are unique to each candidate, including but not limited to job-related skills, relevant education and experience, certifications, abilities of the candidate and pay relative to other team members.
