Staff Systems Engineer, Flight Deck Avionics

Archer is an aerospace company based in San Jose, California building an all-electric vertical takeoff and landing aircraft with a mission to advance the benefits of sustainable air mobility.
We are designing, manufacturing, and operating an all-electric aircraft that can carry four passengers for 100 miles at speeds of up to 150 mph while producing minimal noise.

What you'll do:
Perform a wide range of tasks including:
requirements development, system modeling, safety analysis, verification procedure creation, test execution and preparing certification documentation Perform Integration activities of the Flight Deck Avionics System in the Avionics and Integrated LabsCoordinate Integrated Avionics related development, integration and verification activities between Archer teams and suppliersAssist with definition of installation and qualification requirements for equipment within the Avionics System Participate in architecture definition, trade studies, and mutli-disciplinary integration problem solvingEnsure the requirement sets are complete and correct, with traceability to and fulfilling higher-level requirementsCoordinate with other System Engineers to ensure the fully integrated aircraft meets its requirements and is optimizedBased in Archer HQ, San Jose, CA.

years of experience in Integrated avionics systems development, integration and/or installationExperience on one or more programs with a formal Systems Engineering processExperience with:
14 CFR Part 23 and/or 25 Certification, ARP-4754/ARP-4761, DO-254, DO-178b/c, DO-160Experience with functional and non-functional requirement definition for Integrated Avionics computing and networking componentsExperience executing formal Validation and Verification activities in a civil aerospace programSignificant Experience with Requirements Management Tools such as Polarian and/or DOORSBonus
Qualifications:
Experience with:

We drive a pay-for-performance culture and reward performance that supports the Company's business strategy.
For this position we are targeting a base pay between $151,680-$189,600.
Actual compensation offered will be determined by factors such as job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
