The TikTok Privacy & Security Compliance Platform team is responsible for building easy to use and efficient tools for compliance work for our main users , including legal, data protection office, thousands of TikTok Engineers and TikTok leadership, etc.
The team is working on TikTok's privacy protection-related projects, including Data Retention, Data Minimization, etc, and tools like DPIA, Privacy Objectives, Risk Management for legal / PDPO team, and aims to improve the user experience and efficiency of R&D's daily compliance task.
Responsibilities:
Tech Lead the TikTok privacy program platform team.
Set the product vision and strategy with product and business teams, and oversee the engineering roadmap.
Collaborate with relevant teams to do business and technical planning.
Manage project priorities and product deliveries.
Drive technical initiatives from execution to delivery.
Build a productive R&D process.
Qualifications Bachelor's degree or above, majoring in Computer Science or related fields with at least 5
years of software engineering experience.

years of tech lead experience.
Strong technical skills in backend development, including experience with distributed systems, databases, and APIs.
Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to identifying and addressing technical challenges.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
Experience working in an agile development environment.
Excellent programming, debugging, and optimization skills in one or more general-purpose programming languages including, but not limited to:
Golang, Python, Node.
js.
Preferred Qualification Strong product sense, with experience driving platform system from 0 to 1.
Experience with frontend skills.
Experience with privacy systems.
Experience with privacy principles and laws, such as GDPR, CCPA, and COPPA.
Experience with privacy impact assessments and risk management.
Experience with implementing privacy by design and default principles in backend systems.
