Who You Are
Cisco Global Technical Assistance Center is seeking a creative and personable Program Manager with an amazing ability to rally and lead large and small initiatives from concept through implementation and close-out. As one would expect, you'll need to have expertise and a strong background in program and/or project management. This person will act as the lead for key strategic programs as part of the Strategic Priorities Planning and Operations Team, and will work with stakeholders from every part of the world.
The Program Manager is responsible for creation of an integrated project schedule and plan with financial, resource and material requirements. The PgM provides leadership to project staff including project managers, analysts, vendors, partners or subcontractors. The PgM manages the program from start to completion including the resolution of escalated project issues. Duties include:
1. Working collaboratively with stakeholders and project team members to meet business goals and objectives; using appropriate communication methods to influence others and establish relationships.
2. Applying knowledge of System Integration experiences, market drivers, and key customer issues and opportunities to do strategic planning; establishing, prioritizing, executing, and monitoring a course of action to accomplish goals.
3. Presenting service business value to stakeholders/customers. Influences the customer in the assessment, planning and management of complex projects. May manage complex internal/external projects/programs within Cisco.
4. Developing PowerPoint presentations for periodic executive management updates.
5. Identifying and understanding issues, problems, and opportunities; comparing data from different sources to address challenges and new opportunities; taking courses of action based on sound analysis and judgment that appropriately consider customer and partner business capabilities and issues, available facts, constraints, competitive circumstances and probable consequences.
PLANNING
Define and Validate Project Scope (e.g. clarify project request, conduct needs analysis; identify project priorities)
Create roadmap by integrating Project Plans and Schedules (e.g. estimate work required; validate and translate into tasks and duration)
Select and Apply Standards (e.g. define delivery process, roles & responsibilities, and operational norms; ensure team compliance)
Assess Risk (e.g. identify risks and create mitigation plans)
Define Metrics (e.g. identify measures for success)
DELIVERY
Manage Project Delivery Process (e.g. drive through methodology 'gates;' track progress, identify, escalate, and resolve issues; recommend and ensure decisions)
Manage Scope (e.g. analyze impacts to project, clarify dependencies, constraints, assumptions; evaluate and administer scope change requests)
Manage Project Costs (e.g. estimate / forecast project funding; request budget and make reallocation decisions as needed; ensure project is within budget)
Close Project (e.g. drive completion of project; manage post-project transition to client or business owner)
Mentor Team (e.g. share knowledge and expertise with others)

years experience in networking and/or telecommunications industry
4
years in a clearly defined Senior Project Management role, PMP certification a plus

years Project Manager and/or 2
years Program Management experience in the deployment of leading edge technologies in a highly complex commercial environment.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
