Calix is seeking a strategic thinker, team player, and self-motivated problem solver to join the Product Operations team as Business Solutions Analyst
Responsibilities
Evaluate and define business processes and systems to meet user requirements and provide analytical tools to the business.
Investigate, determine and recommend solutions; present functional and technical options.
Provide active support of all business applications. Develop reporting, forecasting, and analysis tools.
Drive projects from start to finish, from requirements gathering, to scoping, design, development, test, & training
Designs organization-wide views and custom reports
Design, code and publish automated business reports
Create training and desktop procedure documents
Serve on applications implementation, upgrade or improvement projects from assessment to production support as a functional analyst/subject matter expert.
Work with the third-party applications database administrators, technical and functional analysts to perform systems administration tasks.
Communicate progress on projects and system support issues to management and user groups.
Ensure that all users are supported on identifying business process/issues/requirements and trained on applications in a way that allows for them to work efficiently and effectively.
Assist with system setups and the data collection, mapping and configuration to support new and existing functionalities of the system.
Work with Product Operations Leadership in problem solving, systems and process improvement activities and metrics.
Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Management or equivalent work experience
Minimum 3 5 years of Business Analysis experience
Proficiency in analyzing data with database queries
Demonstrated expertise in analytics & project management
Ability to translate user requirements to system requirements
Self-starter
Experience with Oracle EBS and Cloud
Advanced software skills including Microsoft Excel and Visio
Experience with Power BI
Programming experience in Java, JavaScript, HTML, SQL, Python and/or PHP.
Experience with Business Intelligence tools (Dodeca, OBIEE)
Minimum 3 5 years of Business Analysis experience
Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Management or equivalent work experience
