Global Account Manager (IP)

The Global Account Manager is responsible for generating new revenue from the sale of high bandwidth (DS3 and above) IP transit services together with associated value added services, to corporations, large network companies and multinationals, both domestically and internationally. This role requires management of strategic business opportunities and may involve significant analysis of technical and commercial terms.
This position will join the Global IP Network (GIN) team at NTT America (NTTA), a subsidiary of global telecom leader NTT Communications (NTT Com). NTT Com, one of the top wholesale IP providers in the world, was named Best North American Wholesale Carrier at the Global Carrier Awards 2016 for the 3rd year in a row.
Job Requirements
Development of complex multi-component business solutions within the Telecom and/or ISP industries Successful track record with National and/or Major Accounts - experience with International sales preferred.
A track record of over-achieving sales quotas
Thorough understanding of the underlying technologies and economics of the Internet.
Must be familiar with the unique technical requirements of large network customers.
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
Must be able to efficiently communicate to senior management both within and outside the company.
Ability to prepare and deliver professionally structured and written customer proposals with limited supervision.
Ability to work efficiently with finance, sales engineering, legal, IP engineering
Good knowledge of key global IP companies and their respective strengths and weaknesses.
Good knowledge of all Microsoft Office applications.
Flexibility to work outside of standard 9am-6pm US time zone hours.
Generate new sales consistent with quarterly targets
Prepare commercial and technical service proposals and ensure such proposals are technically and commercially sound
Development and maintenance of strong relationships with business executives in prospect and customer organizations
Development of close working relationships with NTT international affiliate companies
Development of a sales plan consistent with department objectives.
Track, manage, and report ongoing activity relative to plan

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
