We are looking for an experienced Project Manager to manage multiple projects in varying scope for the CEO of a fast-paced Silicon Valley technology company in the Software Defined Networking space. This person will be responsible for managing projects that involve resources at HQ in San Jose, CA, India, Europe and the East Coast. Late night meetings with India team will be required as well as travel to customer sites. The person in this position must have proven ability to manage strict deadlines and keep resources, such as colleagues and vendors, on task.
Essential Duties and
Responsibilities:
Coordinate internal resources and third parties/vendors for the flawless execution of projects
Ensure all projects are delivered on-time, within scope and within budget
Create Business and Engineering PowerPoints
Assist in managing engineering and product schedules
Develop detailed project plans and execution approach and track progress
Monitor projects on an ongoing basis, evaluate progress and quality, and keep employees and vendors on schedule to meet deadlines
Manage the relationship with the client and all stakeholders
Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation
Provide periodic regular status updates to management
Education & Experience
Bachelors Degree required
5
years of project management experience
Solid technical background in networking with understanding or hands-on experience with SDN required
Previous military experience a plus
Computer literate with experience in the Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint) a must
Experience with Visio a plus
PMP certification preferred
