Position Overview
Service by Medallion is currently seeking to fill a Janitorial Worker 1st, 2nd, or 3rd Shift positions in San Jose. As a Janitorial Worker you will be responsible to carry out cleaning & maintenance duties of the office buildings. The goal is to keep our building in a clean and orderly condition.
General Responsibilities
Clean and supply designated building areas (dusting, sweeping, vacuuming, mopping, cleaning ceiling vents, restroom cleaning, etc.)
Notify management of occurring deficiencies or needs for repairs
Stock and maintain supply rooms
Team Player
Ability to follow instructions and safety policies
Attendance and Punctuality essential function of the position as it requires face to face interaction.
Other related duties as assigned by supervisor/manager
Requirements
Proven working experience as a janitor
Must speak English (70-80% min) for 1st shift positions. For 2nd & 3rd shifts, Spanish speakers welcome.
Must be able to lift up to 25-pounds
Must be able to pass a background check & E-verify
Ability to read cleaning labels
Ability to work independently
High school degree highly desirable
