We have an immediate need for a Network Engineer to provide hands-on support of a converged network.
Responsibilities include but not limited to the following:
Installation, configuration, maintenance and support of both network and application end devices with a heavy emphasis on customer support at a single location.
Monitor network availability.
Manage software and network securityPerform hands-on Cisco troubleshooting with switches, routers, firewalls.
Perform maintenance of enterprise network routing architectures using protocols such as but not limited to OSPF, VLAN, and static routes.
Perform load performance balancing on the network.
Troubleshoot complex multi-vendor network issues in the LAN and wireless network environment.
Troubleshoot any and all issues using analytical skills, problem-solving techniques, time management skills and escalate for help when needed.
Keep all network topology documentation up to date using excellent oral and written communication skills when communicating including the ability to interact effectively with customers and team members.
Available for a flexible shift which can be rotating and shift coverage with a 24-hour period and must be on-call.
Submit weekly status reports consistently, at the end of each week's shift and the reports are to be sent to designated management.
Review monthly ticket reports for correct troubleshooting and resolution content.
Follow up with other staff on outstanding/open tickets.
Follow the process for all network and system changes.
Store all topology documentation, network passwords, Visio diagrams, etc.
Back up all switch, router, firewall, etc.

Job Requirements:
Cisco CCNA and/or CCNP requiredCisco ACI, ISE and DNA experience a plus.
Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
