The Director, QA will be responsible for managing and overseeing our Quality Engineering function at SN LABS.
This role will manage the core team of software engineers and SDETs that provide the foundation and tooling for our test execution, management and reporting framework that will be utilized by our embedded SDETs and QA Engineers on the SN LABS product platform.
Primary ResponsibilitiesOwn SN LABS product qualityHire and manage the core team of QA software engineers and SDETsRepresent QA on SN LABS leadership teamCollaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure delivery of high-quality featuresDesign, roll out and drive adoption of QA and test automation practicesImplement and manage a test orchestration, execution and reporting framework that is used by all teamsImplement standards and guidelines for test code reviews and drive their adoptionUp level our product quality through more comprehensive testing in the areas of performance, availability, security and privacyOwn and manage our test environmentsPosition RequirementsBachelors degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or similar technical field required15
years of experience in a software development organizationExperience with both cloud-based application and networked device deployments and troubleshootingHighly successful working in CI/CD environment with the ability to both implement processes and procedures from scratch as well as improve existing infrastructureHighly passionate about doing work with a high degree of accuracyExperience working in an AWS environment is a plusYou are comfortable representing SN LAB's to stakeholders and customers as it pertains to our service qualityYou are very technical and love platform productsKnowledge, Skills & AbilitiesStrong analytical, problem solving, and communication abilitiesYou have extensive experience in managing software engineering teamsYou have been part of an engineering leadership team before, with global responsibilitiesYou have a strong propensity to drive product quality through test automations.
Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
