As an Applications Engineers (AE) for the Authenta project, we serve as a primary technical lead to customers, the Micron Business Development (BD), FAE communities, as well as vendors of Authenta cloud IoT management solutions.

We are chartered with defining/developing a cryptographic security module that is embedded in a broad range of nonvolatile memory products; products all of which provide a similar programming interface (API) and cryptographic services and work in conjunction with a companion cloud Key Management Service. Roles and
Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain Authenta related product datasheets, addenda, technical notes, errata, conversion guides and product launch collateral
  • Develop, maintain, and present training material for Authenta internal/external security integrators and support staff
  • Work with Strategic Marketing, Product Marketing and various Architecture and Engineering teams to understand and communicate customer requirements for future Authenta projects and features
  • Develop software and tools that can be used for internal or customer debug situations, efficiency improvement, demonstration purposes, or design win activities
  • Provide technical FAE support and customer project tracking from initial contact through product design-in and post launch support, including developing and demonstrating product capabilities in support of customer design win activity
  • Work closely with Micron and customer architecture, software, information technology, and manufacturing teams to evaluate, debug, and prove end to end key flows work with Authenta material
  • Work along side Micron validation engineers and external contractors on the specification and evaluation of technical targets

Required skills:

  • Strong communication skills both written and verbal; can convey sophisticated technical concepts to peers and management in a succinct and accurate manner
  • Strong interpersonal skills and able to maintain positive relationships with colleagues
  • Delegate tasks and set priorities in a team environment, primarily when working with technicians and contractors
  • Self-directed competitive analysis and presentation skills
  • Intermediate understanding of security and cryptographic concepts with a strong desire to expand skills in this area
  • Understanding and ability to build, understand, debug, and work with basic C, Unix shell, and/or Python code
  • Strong background with general embedded systems relative to bring-up, software integration, software tools, debug tools etc
  • 5 or more years of demonstrated ability related to non-volatile memory:
  • Application engineering (component design-in) and support and Protocol analysis (systems compatibility and optimization)
  • Lab Equipment:
    Protocol/Logic Analyzers, Oscilloscopes, and such

Favorable skills:

  • Develop/maintain documents in Adobe FrameMaker
  • Understanding of one or more storage interfaces:
    eMMC/SD, UFS, PCIe/NVMe, CXL
  • Functionally proficient with Linux, GIT, Jira, Confluence
  • Knowledge of information technology and related information systems, including solid understanding of cloud computing environments such as Microsoft Azure, Amazon Web Services etc.

Education:
BS in Science in Electrical/Software engineering or equivalent

Travel:
regional travel is required if asked but uncommon.

The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
